We travel the planet to find new materials and techniques that can be used to create beautiful products for the home. Using natural, sustainable materials is central to our values. We design products that incorporate materials that are indigenous to the countries we work in. Creating beautiful home products using only local materials allows us to minimize our impact on the planet. Our focus is on using the best quality sustainable, renewable and recycled materials. Building long term relationships with our artisans allows us to foster a deep understanding of quality expectations.

Quality control

We pride ourselves on our long-term relationships with our artisans. We know from our years of experience that long term relationships give the artisans a clear understanding of our quality expectations. These long-term relationships give the artisans the comfort of knowing that they have a secure livelihood.

To ensure that all our products meet our customer’s quality expectations, we have a team of quality assurance specialists in each country we work in. Having our team members near our producers allows us to oversee all aspects of the production process. We continuously communicate with our artisans to ensure that orders are delivered on time and to the agreed specifications.

Social Compliance

Ethical and environmentally responsible production is our cornerstone value. We believe passionately in sustainable economic growth and the welfare of all who are directly and indirectly involved in creating products for us. We visit every producer in person to assess their capabilities and to ensure their adherence to our standards of sustainability, fair wages and good working conditions We partner with suppliers that are Sedex members and who are audited to SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) standards.

Order Management and Delivery

From the time an order is received, we partner with our artisans to develop a production plan that ensures the raw materials, packaging and weavers are coordinated, so that orders will ship on time.
